• In the Gironde, six major jacquaires are classified as World Heritage by UNESCO: Saint-Seurin and Saint-Michel basilicas and the Saint-André cathedral in Bordeaux, Notre-Dame-de-la-Fin- des-Terres at Soulac, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral at Bazas and finally the Abbey of La Sauve-Majeur.
