Gites de Magalas : Gite 2

We regularly stay here in Gite 3 during October. The weather is usually warm and sunny so we make full use of the south facing balcony. Everything you could possibly need is provided-no need to panic shop for loo rolls, salt and pepper etc.. The kitchen knives are sharp, there's a sewing kit, the washing machine is easy to use, there's an iron and a board!!! Everything works!! The bedrooms are large with big, comfy beds plenty of storage space and ensuite bathrooms knitted out with toiletries and plenty of towels, flannels etc.. The comfortable living/dining room now has tv and is big enough to accommodate four big blokes and is adjacent to the balcony. An easy walk to the bar (Excalibur- which now does decent food in the evening) plus a good restaurant next to the church (on the way to the bar!) - Magalas is ideally located for exploring and going to the seaside. In addition the village is well worth wandering around with along history as well being a lively well lived in little place today. This is the best self catering accommodation I have ever found in a great location which is why I keep returning.

We stayed in Gite 2 at Magalas. Ideal spot for visiting the vineyards of the area and the local history. The gite was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. It was in the centre of this small town, and we had an excellent meal at the local bistrot where the staff were very friendly. We had a car that was useful for trips further afield but we also made good use of the local bus service which was very reliable. A lot of information was provided in the gite of local places of interest and places to visit. Would definitely return for another visit.

We love Languedoc, Magalas and this Gîte. We also love fine wine and good food, both of which can be found near this location. We have travelled both by flying to Toulouse and then hiring car as well as by driving through several wine regions in our own car to reach our holiday at this Gîte. We have stayed in 2 out of the 3 Gîtes and found both of them to be very comfortable and well appointed. As well as charming restaurants and fascinating vineyards there are 2 large supermarkets (each with fuel facilities) within easy access. We would recommend this Gîte.

Meine Familie und ich hatten sehr schöne, heiße Tage in Magalas. Die große Wohnung Gite 2 - war großzügig und bestens eingerichtet. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und für Veränderugen offen. Magalas war sehr gut geeignet und eine sehr gute Ausgangsposition für Fahrten zum Baden im Meer und den Flüssen. Vielen Dank an The Roades, uho.
