Between lakes and mountains, the Savoie vineyards extend over 2,000 hectares and several départements: the Savoie mainly, but also the Haute-Savoie, the Isère and the Ain. The Savoie vineyards produce 4 wines with an AOC quality label, that are Vins de Savoie, Crépy, Seysel and Roussette de Savoie, representing 22 vineyards (Abymes, Apremont, Arbin, Ayze, Bergeron, Chautagne, Chignin, Crépy, Cruet, Frangy, Jongieux, Marestel, Marignan, Marin, Monterminod, Monthoud, Montmélian, Pétillant de Savoie, Ripaille, Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte, Saint-Jeoire-Prieuré, and Seysel). These wines are white for the most part and go extremely well with the cheeses and specialities of the Savoie.
