In the Antilles, this sweet dessert named for its amazing white colour ("blanc" meaning "white") is made with coconut milk. To make it, you will also need sweetened condensed milk, gelatine sheets, vanilla, cinnamon and lime zest. Not only is it easy to make, this recipe is also very quick, except of course if you're making the coconut milk yourself from scratch! Served as a dessert, coconut blancmange is eaten chilled and served plain or accompanied by an exotic fruit coulis.
