Abtei Septfontaines

We stayed in the Abbey for four days and it was a great experience! We loved the buildings, the enormous gardens/fields around the Abbey and above all the atmosphere. Rosita and José-Luis are the kindest people you can imagine and Rosita told us all about the interesting history of the Abbey of Septfontaines. Also nice places to visit around the Abbey. For instance: Chateau de Reynel with beautiful paintings from the Belgian painter: Jef leempoels and Langres, a very charming city with intact fortifications. Nearby Langres, there is a lake (lac de la Liez), which is great for a swim. If you love to stay in buildings where you can feel the history and if you love a landscape which is green with woods and hills, this is the place to be!

L' abbaye est un site enchanteur chargé d' histoire où nous avons été charmés par le calme et la sérénité du lieu. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié nos moments de méditation le soir, sur un petit palier, près de notre chambre, face à la nature, au soleil déclinant. Nous rendons hommage à la constance de Rosita et de sa famille pour préserver ce bijou dans son écrin naturel et nous le faire partager. Nous avons pu faire des visites enchanteresses à égale distance du lieu d' hébergement, que ce soit à Joinville, à Neufchâteau ou Bourmont.

Après avoir profondément dormi entre ces murs chargés d'histoire, vous prenez votre petit déjeuner de produits frais, au milieu des herbes, face au soleil levant… C'est un voyage dans le temps et une étape apaisante. Merci à l'hôtesse pour son accueil chaleureux et prévenant.

Accueil très enrichissant avec notre hôte, visite privée de l'abbaye.
