In February, the town hosts the Vinivals fair with meetings around wine and local products from the region.
In April, the Saint-Jacques trail crosses the town with several events (20, 32, 43, 72 or 123 km).
International pedestrian race, the 15 km from Le Puy, which passes through Vals-près-le-Puy takes place in May.
At the end of August, the Festivogue des Chibottes takes place. On the program, shows for the whole family, a torchlight procession, theatrical visits, a market or even a festive meal.
A Christmas market with entertainment is offered in December.
