Open to enthusiasts as well as professionals, the Triskell Cup is a sailing regatta that takes place every year in early November in Guadeloupe. The race is known for its friendly atmosphere and the number and diversity of its participants.
The Triskell Cup attracts over 350 sailing crew members from France, Martinique, Guiana and Guadeloupe. There are amateurs but also big names in sailing like Claude Thélier, Luc Coquelin, Willy Bissainte or Jimmy Dreux.
For four days, over 50 sailboats compete in a speed challenge that totals 250 nautical miles and comprises 10 rounds in the crystal-clear waters of Karukera, in front of the Gosier islet. Open 40, multihulls, monohulls: for spectators, it's a real joy to be able to see all the different sailboats. There are many activities to accompany the event, like meals and dance shows.
