For the ten days leading up to 14 February, the city of Strasbourg celebrates lovers. A surprising and poetic event, "Strasbourg Mon Amour" is aimed at Alsace residents as well as visitors, with original and quirky nights out, concerts, romantic dances and pop-up bars, unusual tours of the city's museums, photography exhibitions, film screenings, gourmet dinners and romantic shows.
A total of over 40 events are in store. The aim is to highlight the poetic and romantic atmosphere of the city of Strasbourg in winter, with its cobbled streets, superb half-timbered houses, canals and bridges. The event draws around 20,000 participants.
