Mézières-en-Brenne does not lack dynamism with regular events highlighting the historical heritage of the city.
The weekly market takes place every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm.
Every Sunday following Shrove Tuesday, the village of Mézières-en-Brenne is the origin of the Echaudés fair. On this occasion, the brotherhood of croqueux d'échaudés inducts new members and various gastronomic competitions are opened.
Over the years, the Randonnee de la Brenne has become THE unmissable event for walkers, cyclists and horse-drawn carriages. It takes place over 3 days every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the beginning of August. Two circuits are offered on one day in mid-May and mid-October.
In collaboration with Martizay, the Mézières-en-Brenne library offers its storytelling festival in October, La clef dans le sac. Workshops, events and readings for the youngest and their parents are offered.
