Main Square Festival started in 2004 in Arras. Every year in early July, fifty or so concerts will take place over 3 days in the remarkable setting of the Vauban citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 100,000 people come to listen to artists performing on the two festival stages: from rock to hip-hop through electronic music, pop and folk. The line-up includes many international headliners.
