Since 1981, the Jazz à Vienne festival has taken place every year in early summer. For a fortnight, concerts are organised at different locations in the town: at the Théâtre Antique in Vienne, the most prestigious stage with capacity for over 7,000 people; at the Jazz Mix, a spot for night owls and all the new jazz trends; at the Club de Minuit, an Italian-style theatre offering an international line-up; on the Cybèle stage, where regional artists mix; and not forgetting the Jazz Parade and the Caravan'Jazz, which travels around the communes near Vienne.
