The third weekend of May Essoyes organizes several years, the wine fair where about 50 winemakers from all over France present their productions. This event attracts more and more people, especially the Belgians who love the region and good French wines.

Exhibition Event: Renoir, the Work Reinvented

- Far from a simple retrospective, the exhibition explores the future of Pierre-Auguste Renoir ? S work after his death in 1919. His three sons inherited some 700 paintings. In 1922, they began organizing sales through the Barbazanges-Hodebert gallery, an influential venue on the Paris art scene at the turn of the 20th century. - Some of the practices employed at the time still raise questions today : small- and medium-format canvases are cut into fragments, sometimes stamped with the painter ? S signature. Although the Renoir estate did not invent this process, it seems to have adopted it on a large scale, reinventing it in its own way.
