- During the second week of the spring holidays (from 22 April to 26 April 2024), the town of Decize is offering sporting activities for children aged 6 to 18, free of charge and with no need to book in advance (except for media library activities). - The activities are open to all children and teenagers (including young people from neighbouring towns or passing through the region). - In order to offer young people targeted activities throughout the year and to raise their awareness of the benefits of sport and culture, the town of Decize is deploying a genuine youth and sports strategy through the "Loisirs-Jeunes" scheme. - Supervised by qualified sports instructors, these activities enable young people to practise their favourite sport, but also to discover new disciplines. - For each activity, bring trainers, rain gear, a bottle of water… - To make sure you don't miss out, download the full programme (PDF).
"Un Jour Pour la Paix" et Lecture Théâtrale "Au-Dessus de la Mêlée"

- The town of Decize and the association "La Planète des Songes" are organising a two-part evening. - - Un jour pour la Paix" - Peace and war - A dialogue on the theme of peace, followed by a drink and a chat with the audience. - Followed by - - A theatrical reading of Romain Rolland's "Au-dessus de la Mêlée", performed by Hervé Colin (duration 1h30) - "War, thought to have disappeared forever from our lands like a sword of Damocles, has been hanging over us since 24 February 2022. - Listening to Au-dessus de la Mêlée (Above the fray), the most famous pacifist manifesto of the Great War, published in September 1914, is an exceptional text for the strength of its message and the beauty of its language, and allows us to measure our ability to forget the lessons of the past and the need to maintain our collective memory to avoid new disappointments. - The Nivernais and Clamecy native Romain Rolland reminds us that we cannot build the future in ignorance of the past. - Is the idea of a peaceful world just an illusion, a utopia ? - Let's talk about it, let's dialogue, let's exchange. - Come one, come all to pay tribute to the originality and greatness of the moralist Romain Rolland. - Admission free.

- Auction-goers are in for a treat in Decize town centre ! - Once again, Decize's shopkeepers will be unpacking their treasures in front of their shops. - It's a day of bargains : men's, women's and children's clothing, accessories, jewellery, toys and more. - A host of exhibitors will be on hand to complement the range of goods on offer from the town's retailers. - Prices for stalls : - Free for sedentary traders (stand in front of their shop) ; - 4 € per linear metre for non-sedentary traders. For the latter, regulars will have to set up on their traditional stands before 7am. Others can set up from 7.30am onwards in the Place du Champ de Foire (no need to book in advance). Requiem de Fauré - Cantique de Jean Racine et Motets

- Two choirs for Gabriel Fauré - The Ensemble Voix humaine (dir. Alice Benevise) in partnership with the Vibrat'Hom choir (dir. Arielle Dervieu) will be giving this choir and organ concert in Decize, after Nevers and Cosne-cours-sur-Loire, to mark the centenary of the death of composer Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924). - These two vocal ensembles are supported by RESO Nièvre. - Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, his most emblematic work, will take pride of place in this concert, with soloists Alexis Pautrat (baritone) and Gabrielle Deit (soprano). - The choristers will also perform 2 motets for women's voices, Opus 65, and Jean Racine's Cantique. - The concert will be accompanied on the organ by Matthieu Germain, organist at Nevers Cathedral and organ teacher for RESO Nièvre. - Free admission.
