Numerous cultural and sporting events are organized all year round in Creil in the different neighborhoods thanks to the 300 associations and cultural structures of the city: The Faïencerie-théâtre of by teenagers in February; "Les p'tites tomettes" for 0-6 year olds in April; "Mosaique", street arts festival throughout the city in September) and open-air screenings in summer, The Faïencerie Cultural Space hosts the Manga Convention, the Book and Comics Fair, the Record Convention and many other general public events all year round. La Grange à Musique and the Conservatory of Music and Dance offer concerts and shows of all types of music throughout the year and the Espace Matisse allows you to learn about different visual arts or contemplate works of art in their exhibition gallery from September to June.
The Creil Colors festival and the association festival return each year in June to Saint-Maurice Island to celebrate the cultural and sporting diversity of Creil.
The chestnut fair has taken place every year in November in the city center for more than 800 years.
