- On 9 june 2024
- 3 les Defferts
- Come and spend a creative morning surrounded by flowers in the Jura ! - Double workshop : floral composition and cyanotype. - Caroline is a farmer and florist who grows seasonal, local and pesticide-free flowers at P'tit Pré Fleuri in Chevreaux (39), as part of the "Slow Flower" movement. Committed to limiting man's impact on the environment, her aim is to help people rediscover the flowers that grow close to home. - In the cool of the morning, come and visit the horticultural meadow, discover how flowers are grown on living soil, and pick your own bouquet. With Caroline's advice, you'll be able to put together your own fragrant bouquet of flowers from the Jura. - Cyanotype is a fun and creative 19th-century photography technique. It produces magnificent botanical prints on a blue background. With advice from Constance and Antonin from the Atelier des Épatants (Beaufort, 39), discover all the secrets of cyanotype and create your own floral prints on paper. All materials are provided, and you'll leave with your own creations. - Near the workshop venue, you'll find : the medieval castle of Chevreaux, forest walks, picnic tables, Jura specialities… - Who is it for ? --> Adults and children aged 10 and over - How much does it cost ? --> 70 per person, with a preferential rate of €130 if you sign up as a couple. - Places are limited to 12 participants.
Une Matinée Créative au Milieu des Fleurs : Composition Florale et Cyanotype Botanique
- On 9 june 2024
- 3 Les Deffert, Au P'tit Pré Fleuri, ferme florale en permaculture
- Spend a morning surrounded by flowers, in a permaculture horticultural meadow, for a creative flower arrangement and cyanotype workshop ! - You'll be welcomed to P'tit Pré Fleuri by Caroline, a permaculture flower grower. Caroline will take you on a tour of her living soil meadow and share with you the principles behind her responsible cultivation of seasonal flowers. You can then pick your own flowers, and Caroline will guide you through the composition of your bouquet. - Next, Constance and Antonin from the Atelier des Epatants will introduce you to the ancient photography technique of cyanotype. The cyanotype uses sunlight to produce photo prints on a blue background. It's an old-fashioned alternative contact photo technique, which you'll discover here with botanical subjects gleaned from the flower meadow. - At the end of the workshop, you'll go home with your own creations. - This workshop is open to everyone, aged 12 and over (accompanied by children).
