Small town of Corrèze, in the country of Brive, Voutezac takes place in the Country of Art and History "Vézère - Slate", not far from the cirque of Saillant at the end of the Massif Central. It is located about forty kilometers from Tulle, on the roads of Saint Jacques de Compostela, and not far from Lascaux or Estivaux.
Once crossed by via Lemovicensis, which led to the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, the municipality of Voutezac owes its fame over the centuries to the wealth of its vineyard. Destroyed by diseases in the nineteenth century, the latter gradually resumes thanks to the planting of several hectares.
Populated since the Gallo-Roman era, as evidenced by the remains found on site, the village still attracts visitors today with its bucolic charm and architectural heritage of interest.
