Things to see and do

Green and surrounded by nature, the village of Vitrac also has a small but very interesting historical and architectural heritage.

Former seat of the lordship of Vitrac, Fargues Castle was built in the mid-thirteenth century. It was rebuilt in the late sixteenth century, taking the name of Chateau Neuf. The current castle dates from 1741 and was restored in the mid-nineteenth century. Today it houses the Museum which Servaire beautiful paleontological collections.

The Saint -Martial church is an old priory which you can admire a heart Romanesque style dating from the fourteenth century. Occupied by four chapels, the church was restored in the late 1990s.

The Devil Hole, rocky chaos located across the Rance, is the scene of numerous popular legends.
