The Church: This large church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin dates from the eleventh century. Its architecture and furniture continue to be enriched in the following centuries. Thus the choir polygonal apse and nave with side aisles date from the twelfth century. Renaissance bequeathed a gable-wall with a large flaming bay, and a porch. Built in 1811, uninhabited since the 1920s, and who then served as agricultural dependence, it was in ruins and doomed to disappear. His salvation comes from the Heritage Association and culture Bassée, created to promote and protect all kinds of heritage in the region. She spotted her and bought, not without difficulty. The small house was later restored in the course of 2000 by several youth camps of the Rempart association. This intervention involved the observance of ancient techniques and mix of materials: limestone, wood, brick.
