Located in the town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, in Aveyron, the Urban Cabrol municipal museum takes place in a former private mansion from the 18th century. Dedicated to local history, it presents, through collections of archeology, art and ethnography, life in this territory from the first occupations until the beginning of the 20th century.
Labeled Museum of France, this exceptional site which allows in particular to admire the exceptional collection of archeology of Jean Caussanel, regularly offers its visitors temporary exhibitions of contemporary art in order to discover world-famous artists such as Picasso, Miró, Braque or Dufy.
