Small village of Vaucluse, in the Luberon Regional Nature Park, Villars takes place near Roussillon and Provencal Colorado. It is located about sixty kilometers from Avignon and its festival, not far from Apt and Gignac.
Formed on the territory of Saint-Saturnin-les-Apt, the village of Villars hosted in the Gallo-Roman era many villas of Roman practitioners. But it was not until the beginning of the twelfth century that the town was really born, turning mainly to agriculture and livestock.
Full of charm and very dynamic, this town in the south of France still has an interesting historical heritage, as well as a large choice of leisure activities. Its typical architecture can be admired while staying in the surroundings.
