Common new Jura region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Val-Sonnette takes place about ten kilometers from Lons-le-Saunier, on the edge of Revermont and Bresse. She was born on 1 January 2017 from the merger of Bonnaud, Grusse, Vercia and Vincelles.
Long agricultural land, facing the breeding and culture, Val-Sonnette experienced a relatively peaceful history, taking over the centuries the face it has today. The town has, however, illustrated tragically during World War II, as evidenced by the various plaques visible especially in Vincelles.
Today very dynamic, this new town has retained an interesting natural heritage to discover during a stay in the area and beautiful buildings.
