Located in the Albanian massif, 14 km from the old town and Lake Annecy, the town of Vaulx offers you the visit of the Secret Gardens. These extend over an area of 7000 m² in a mosaic of gardens with varied and refined inspirations. Throughout the visit, the murmur of the fountains combines with the exuberance of the flowers to animate a daring architecture of ornate wood. Secret gardens of a stubborn and passionate man and woman, this unusual and abundant place is a hymn to creation. For more than twenty years, patios, courtyards, galleries, alleys, arbours, lounges, pools and fountains have been organized like a giant puzzle to create an innovative and mixed garden where country poetry and the oriental refinement. The different spaces each have their own identity and are as much an incentive to dream: The Loges de la folie, the Cour des calades, the Andalusian Garden, the Allée des roses, the Jardin de curé, the Jardin délice, the Galerie des palmettes or the Galerie des lyres... The unity of this architectural and landscaped ensemble nevertheless emerges through the founding elements of the Secret Gardens, always present and always renewed: wood, flowers, pebbles, lime mortar, copper and wood. 'water. This little paradise of freshness and serenity won the Green Tourism Trophy, the "Holidays in France" prize and receives, from April to October, 35,000 visitors. In 2018, the Secret Gardens obtained the Remarkable Garden and Quality Tourism label in 2014.
