Besides the remains of old mills that once marked out the course of Cisse, reflecting intense activity fishmeal, the town of Chouzy still has a neighborhood called Holland, where Protestant artisans Batavian origin settled in the seventeenth (potters, watch, glove makers...). They left the city after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685.

However, in terms of heritage, Chouzy has other sites that are worth visiting. The most notable is that of the ancient abbey of Guiche, founded in 1273 by the Count of Blois and his wife Alix de Bretagne. The monastery housed the nuns of the Poor Clares for five centuries before being abandoned and sold, looted and partially destroyed during the Revolution.

Meanwhile, the site of the abbey had been chosen by the counts of Blois for burial: ten graves attests. It remains of the abbey (the remains of which are registered in the Inventory) part of the cloister, a Gothic cellar and a chapel sheltering recumbent. Surrounded by a 4-hectare park, private property is open to visitors by appointment. Admission: 4.50 euros. Information at +33 6 22 08 38 96.

The church houses a shrine of the seventeenth century containing relics of St. Martin and a painting from 1875 representing St. Agnes, copy of the original preserved in the Cathedral of Pisa.

In the village, still include the remains of Chanteloire (XVIII), several bridges (rebuilt over the flood), and a medieval priory remodeled several times (staircase thirteenth, tower of the fifteenth, main building of the sixteenth and seventeenth).

Former outbuilding of the Priory Manor Laleu can punctuate a discovery tour of the heritage of Chouzy. Its bases are the thirteenth century and was restored several times.

On Coulanges, the recently restored St. Denis church contains carved stalls from the Abbey of Guiche, and a high altar and reredos (the latter having been moved). In this village, also, Castle Roconne not lacking in nobility, consisting of a main building overlooking the valley of Cisse, Annex building and a converted chapel in a tower, all bordering a lawn.

Finally, the village of Seillac has a church of the twelfth dedicated to Saint-Jacques le Majeur which are believed she was a stopover for pilgrims to Compostela leaders. As for Domaine de Seillac, now home gite complex (cottages), it is composed of a century castle in the heart of a 24 hectare green park with a pond. Information at +33 2 54 20 72 11.
