Wine village of Aude, Occitanie region, Tuchan takes place in the Corbières, on the edge of the Pyrénées-Orientales. It is located at the foot of Mont Tauch, not far from Rivesaltes and Estagel, and about thirty kilometers from the airport of Perpignan - Rivesaltes.
High place of wines of Corbières and producer of Fitou, Corbières and Muscat of Rivesaltes, Tuchan knew a human occupation since Prehistory. Inhabited by the Romans in antiquity, the town became chief town of the canton in 1790. Border between France and Aragon in the thirteenth century, it was an important stake of the welding of the provinces of Languedoc and Roussillon following the treaty Pyrenees in the middle of the 17th century.
