Founded by Father Paul Feller, the House of Tools and Workers' Thought in Troyes is today the largest museum of hand-shaping tools in the world. Housed in the old mansion of Mauroy from the 16th century restored by the Compagnons du Devoir, the museum unveils a collection of tools from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Coming from all regions of France, the museum's collection allows visitors to discover all the great traditional trades (stonemason, cooper, tailpiece, clog maker, farrier, etc.).
Fun and full of surprises, the site has several olfactory diffusers that allow you to dive deeper into the world of the trades mentioned.
