Tramayes

• Castle of Tramayes: It was built in 1598 by Mathurin de Bullion. It is composed of three towers with sharp angles; The 4th angle is formed of a tower in the watch-tower. The door of the old drawbridge is of Henry IV style, with vermiculated boss. The castle still has machicolations and loopholes. It is listed in the Monuments Historiques for its façades and roofs since 1977. Visit the castle park in summer.
• Church of Tramayes: It dates from the XIth-XIIth century. The bell-tower, of Romanesque style, has been listed in the inventory of historical monuments since 1930. Its orientation is unusual: the bell tower is above the entrance and not above the choir.
• Mont de la Mère Boitier, 758 m: highest point of the Monts du Mâconnais. Panoramic 360 ° view of the Alps, the Saône plain, the Mâconnais and Beaujolais mountains.
• Joseph Dufour Documentation Center: this background of archives and documents concerns the life and work of Joseph Dufour (1754 - 1827), as well as the panoramic artistic wallpaper (history, technique...). Open to the public by appointment.

• Art Exhibitions: every year, the Tourist Office Verts Vallons of South Burgundy offers room Joseph Dufour exhibitions, rue de l'Église at Tramayes (paintings, pottery, sculptures, photographs...). Information on +33 3 85 59 72 24.
• Hiking: about twenty summer walks, guided and free, are offered between July and August in the territory of the Community of Communes. Information at the Tourist Office on +33 3 85 59 72 24.
• The Rémi and Caroline walks: this 4 km hike is particularly suitable for families and children. Two circuits are proposed: "At the meeting of Rémi & Caroline" at Tramayes and "Nature reveals its secrets" to Matour. A game booklet distributed at the start (Tourist Office in Matour and Tourist Information Office at Tramayes) allows the youngest to guide their parents.
