Renowned ski resort, Tignes welcomes you in winter and summer for unforgettable descents. At Tignes, each neighborhood has its own personality. Tignes of 1800 the exact replica of the sunken village during the filling of the dam Brevières neighborhood nestled at 1550 meters, the resort has that inexplicable charm which makes an original and quirky place since its inception. The Claret district can browse the ski resort feet. Tignes Lake is where city life joined the daily mountain. Finally, to ski on the glacier, the Val Claret is advised. Anyway... Tignes is the ideal ski resort for moments with family or friends to have fun in a beautiful green setting.
In the winter, the ski resort welcomes you on no less than 300 kilometers of ski slopes varying from an altitude of 1,550 to 3,450 meters. Alpine skiing is therefore in the spotlight, but you can also practice other sports on the landscaping. You will be able to try the 6 slalom tracks or to attend the numerous sports competitions that are organized there. A bumpy stadium, two snowparks and a gliss'park are also at your disposal for fun. In summer, the glide takes place on the Grande Motte glacier. Blue, red, green and black tracks await you for exceptional moments. The snowpark joins the ski area on the glacier for the greatest pleasure of the freestylers.
Activities do not stop once you have barefoot. On the program, sensations of a new kind with the diving under ice, the circuit on ice or ski joëring. You can also go for a ride on the ice rink or do some climbing, mountain biking and dog sledding among others. In short, all the sports with strong emotion are available on the station, whatever the season.
Tignes, it is also magnificent landscapes that you can discover hiking, equestrian or snowshoes. In summer, the nautical base welcomes you for highlights around the water. You can also opt for archery or a paragliding tour.
And to rest after all these activities, you can choose between shopping, brasserie or trendy restaurant. Discos are also available for those who want to dance to the end of the night.

In April, Live in Tignes by Francofolies, it's 4 days of free concerts and scenes.
From mid-July to mid-August, Musicalp invites you to classical music concerts in a grand setting. Music lovers will be delighted.
In early August, Tignes invites you to the Petanque Masters which brings together the greatest players on the planet.
End of August, this is the Tignes Trail! A trail running competition, open to both novice and experienced amateurs, awaits you.
Between November and December, Tignes welcomes you to the Sports Values. International sports competitions to follow and breathtaking. Come cheer your favorite sportsman!
Early December and until mid December, the Christmas fairy invaded Tignes for totally magical moments.
