Church Sainte-Madeleine

Monument in Strasbourg

Located in the heart of Strasbourg, the Sainte-Madeleine church was reconstructed identically by the architect Fritz Beblo at the beginning of the 20th century on the remains of a first building from the 14th century. Bombed in 1944 during World War II, it subsequently underwent repairs and modifications. From the original building, you can still admire a medieval choir.

In its interior, it unveils, among other things, a beautiful Stations of the Cross made by the artist René Kuder, as well as a very beautiful 18th century organ deposited in 2011 by the Museum of Decorative Arts of Strasbourg.
