Sotta is surrounded by maquis, and very pretty and very easy walks are to be made especially in the valley of Arca, directly from a marked path.
You can also visit a picturesque Oriu "i Canni" which is called here "the house of the Smurfs".

In the surroundings, the visit of the city of Bonifacio is unavoidable: its white cliffs and the strolls on these until the end of the cape of Pertusato are a marvel, its citadel and all the history of the Bonifaciens, until the Araguina, a cave under which was found the skeleton of a woman from prehistory. The gully that leads to the sea, to discover at the same time as the Lavezzi Islands from the port.
