7 Cross Sorbs : A study of Hyacinthe Le Rouge, Sorbs priest in the early 20th century. The village of Sorbs included at the time of this study 7 cross, one of them " Cross Combelle ", wood, placed once at the end of the village opposite the plateau and adjacent ravines of Virenque no longer exists. A replacement cross was erected in 2009 under the leadership of the Heritage Preservation Association chaired by PM Bertrand. The most notable of these crosses are one of the Mas and the castle. The cross of the Mas : This cross placed in front of the old church is now located in the village center. It is the oldest. This is an octagonal granite monolith 2 meters high and 54 centimeters in turn. On this pillar rests a cross of 1 meter in height which the cross is 60 cm long, the center is adorned with a beautiful rosette relief of 10 cm. The cross of the Castle : This cross masterpiece built at the end of the reign of Louis the 14th ( 1717 ), listed historical monument, is located at the crossroads near the castle. Multiple entries that can take on that cross would require the study of a scholar for their content and to them.
Holes - The Sotchs : If we can note the presence of prehistoric caves ( the rock and cave Bouissas / burial at Rouquet ), while many chasms open here and there Flush with the floor (as in Mas Vernet ) the presence " sotchs " is immediately noticeable in the eyes of Sunday stroll. A sotch is a circular depression of small diameter but especially deep funnel-shaped. Its formation results from filling a pothole or racking clays clogging the bottom of a sinkhole.
