The leisure center of Malsaucy is located on the shores of the lake of the same name, in the municipality of Sermamagny, less than 10 km north of Belfort. Covering an area of 55 hectares, the lake was laid out with other ponds of smaller size at the beginning of the 16th century for fish farming purposes. The waters have also fueled industries in the region.
The leisure center includes a beach, a nautical center and other facilities dedicated to the observation and preservation of the remarkable ecological environment of the whole area.
The beach is open and swimming is supervised from June to mid-September. In the summer, the site is ideal for swimming and idleness.
Access is free, but some activities are not free (pedalo, mini-golf).
Near the beach, the nautical base allows to learn sailing, canoeing or paddle. Sessions dedicated to nature activities are offered in parallel (orienteering, archery...).

An ornithological observatory managed by the Bird Protection League and an educational trail to understand the environment of the ponds and surrounding wooded areas have also been developed.
Finally, fishing cards are sold by the day for amateurs, for which dedicated areas are reserved on the main lake and some nearby ponds.
During the summer, the leisure center hosts several major events during which the beach and related activities are closed: the Eurockéennes festival in early July, for example.
