Castle of Oberhof

Monument in Saverne

Former Episcopal palace located in the municipality of Saverne, Bas-Rhin, Oberhof Castle was built in the twelfth century and is now the subject of a registration on Historical Monuments.

Originally gothic, the building was partly damaged in the late seventeenth century during the construction of the Episcopal Regency. Castle of Oberhof, mainly Renaissance style, now houses the sub-prefecture.
