Small village in the Hautes-Pyrénées, in Occitan region Sarrancolin takes place about fifty kilometers from Tarbes in the Aure Valley. It is located near Labastide, Pailhac Hèches and on the banks of the Neste.
Medieval old town, Sarrancolin is renowned in history for its marble mining which knows its rise from the seventeenth century and is found in large French monuments such as the Petit Trianon at Versailles, the Empire State Building in New -York or the opera Garnier in Paris.
