Commune of the Landes, in the region of New Aquitaine, Samadet takes place at about thirty kilometers from Mont-de-Marsan, in the heart of the Tursan vineyard. It is located between Saint-Sever and Auriac, near Monségur.
Bourg full of charm, Samadet is best known since the eighteenth century for its faience production that has made its reputation throughout the country. He continues to showcase this heritage today.
