Labeled Museum of France and handicapped people, the Cerdagne Museum Sainte-Léocadie in the Pyrenees-Orientales, takes place in a rural building from the eighteenth century registered historic monument today.
Opened in 1993, the Museum of Cerdagne aims to enhance and convey all facets of the region, particularly through collections of everyday objects, but also testimonies of inhabitants.
Children and their parents can learn this culture through permanent and temporary exhibitions, but also guided tours, workshops and various cultural activities. The site also has an incredible altitude garden that is nice to walk on sunny days.
