Sainte-Adresse is a town in Seine-Maritime, Normandy. This seaside resort of La Manche coastline is in the city of Le Havre, on the Caux plateau. She who was once called Saint-Denis-Chef-de-Caux is a former fishing village in which they found Gallo-Roman houses reflecting its rich past.

The resort of Sainte-Adresse was once inspired artists such as Corot or Monet who took pleasure in coming to paint the cliffs and the beach Sainte-Adresse. Today, tourists enjoy the calm of the place and its important heritage from several different eras.

The resort of Sainte-Adresse, plus a beautiful view of the coastline of the English Channel, also offers the opportunity to enjoy an interesting historical and natural heritage.

The flagship Hève is one of the most beautiful sites Sainte-Adresse. It stands on the high cliffs of the Seine estuary, and was listed as an historic monument in 2010. Commissioned in the fifties to replace the old one destroyed in 1944, it was one of the first lighthouses electrified France.

On the cape of the LaHave, visitors can discover a very interesting geological and prehistoric site. This is a natural site, as is the beach Sainte-Adresse.

Walking through Sainte-Adresse, it is possible to enjoy the mansion Vitanval. Built in the first half of the fifteenth century, it is a half-timbered building on the Anglo-Norman style.

Not far away, the Notre Dame des Plots, built in 1857, or the villa of Sarah Bernhardt built in the late nineteenth century attract attention.

Original, Sugar Loaf is a large mausoleum in the cemetery of Sainte-Adresse to the memory of General Charles Lefebvre-Desnouettes, widow of a cousin of Napoleon.

Beach Sainte-Adresse is the opportunity to try several water sports or simply enjoy the landscape.
