Its privileged location at the crossroads of four valleys of Ardeche, offers a large selection of excursions and other marked trails to practice on foot, bike, or horse. Most athletes will also learn tennis, climbing or fishing, all protected from the sun by the many chestnut trees that dot the town.

However you can still see the remains of the ancient castle of the village, legacy of Montagut, overlooking the valley.

Fontugne Beach, located near the banks of the Gluyère, can enjoy the joys of swimming and basking in the sun in a unique setting.

Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut hosts a food market every Saturday morning, from 8 to 13h.

With Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux and Saint-Fortunat-sur-Eyrieux, Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut every year in October Farm Gospel Festival. On this occasion, meetings between amateur and professional musicians and singers from around the world are organized to showcase gospel music. Film screenings related to this musical world are also offered.

The same month, the town also offers its traditional roasted chestnuts, honoring the fruit grown on its territory.
