Les Hautes Chaumes (1640 m), a small paradise for nature lovers, mountain bikers and hikers, between Saint-Étienne and Ambert. This bare plateau is the Forez reference site for dreaming and escaping. It dominates the south of France. It is the essential place on the crests of Forez to discover a constellation of mountains, the Alps at sunset, the Monts du Cantal, Sancy, Velay and Puy de Dôme.
