Saint-Martin-le-Redon is a village in the Lot region in the Occitania region.
The village is located about 45 km west of Cahors and 12 km north of Puy-l'Évêque, on the borders of the departments of Lot-et-Garonne and the Dordogne.
The commune borders the River Thèze, and forms the link between the valley of the Lot and the verdant region of Bouriane.
Saint-Martin-le-Redon borders the territory of Saint-Front-sur-Lémance where the famous Château de Bonaguil (belonging to the town of Fumel) was erected, and from the village the visitor has a remarkable view of this medieval fortress particularly well Conserved.
Saint-Martin-le-Redon has a little more than 200 inhabitants. The history of the village was linked to that of Bonaguil even if a Roman road crossed the commune and that, parallel to agriculture, until recently a source was exploited for the dermatological virtues of its water.
