Originally dedicated to Saint-Antoine, this chapel built on the old road to Gattières and out of the center of the village was built in the 11th century, before the creation of the village.
Very degraded, it was sold in 1790 as national property to a citizen who donated it to the brotherhood of White Penitents in 1805 of which he was a member.
Enlarged and modernized in 1822, the chapel is blessed. The feast of Saint-Antoine, Saint-Pétronille and Saint-Claude is celebrated there; it then becomes the center of a pilgrimage in May, but neglected because of the picking of the orange blossom which took place during this period, at the same time as this feast.
The chapel, again very degraded, was entrusted by the municipality in 1973 to the painter Charles Delporte to decorate it. He then donated his works to the municipality.
Come and discover it by making the circuit of the chapels of Saint-Jeannet.
