Small village located in the heart of Bresse and its groves, Saint-Jean-sur-Reyssouze is a town in the department of Ain, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The village is located on the edge of the Reyssouze, about thirty kilometers from Bourg-en-Bresse and Mâcon, at the crossroads of the departmental road n ° 1 which unites in successive waves the hills of Revermont to those of Mâconnais and the departmental road n ° 80 which links Haute-Bresse (Saint-Trivier-de-Courtes) to Dombes (Villars-les-Dombes).
The town of Saint-Jean-sur-Reyssouze is renowned for its natural flowering since it has a 3-flower label at the entrances to the town. It is also attractive from a gastronomic point of view, with several producers of the famous Bresse poultry, AOC unique in France, which treats the taste buds of visitors.
