Val de Drôme

Strolling in Sept-Vents, you can admire the old Benedictine priory St. Lawrence known for its altar adorned with statues of St. Vincent, the Virgin and Child, St. Radegund and St. Lawrence of the seventeenth century to the classified Historical monuments as an object. Be sure not to appreciate the Church of Our Lady built in the early nineteenth century, or outside of the old manor of Orval.

Listed historic monument, the castle of Dampierre dates from the seventeenth century. It is also listed for its gatehouse and dovecote. Be seduced by the St. Peter's Church of the sixteenth century with his recumbent Nicolas Silly and his wife listed as historical building, or the funeral chapel of the Marquis de Dampierre. Nineteenth century, it is now listed historical monument.

Crossing La Lande-sur-Drôme, you will appreciate the Saint-Sauveur-et-Saint-Gorgon or the old stone bridge Creully. Saint-Jean-des-Essartiers also offers admire a beautiful church with elements of Middle Age and a century château.

At the end of the year, a Christmas market with entertainment, local artisans and Santa is proposed in Dampierre.
