Built in the 16th century, then remodeled in the 17th century, the former priory of Saint-Jean-de-Côle now benefits from an inscription in the Historic Monuments for its library, its garden, its tower, its enclosing wall, its barn or its mill.
Installed on the banks of the Côle, attached to the choir of the church, it still reveals several original buildings, like the library with a modified reproduction of the Rapture of Saint Paul by Nicolas Poussin. The priory of Saint-Jean-de-Côle serves today as a private dwelling.
