Saint-Jean-d'Aulps is a charming mountain village, located in the Haute-Savoie, near Morzine-Avoriaz. It is 1h30 from Geneva airport, 1 hour from Chamonix.
Its inhabitants are called the Jovanétiens.
The village is active all year because it centralizes many facilities: college, gym, EPHAD, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, bookstore, post office, treasury, hairdressers, real estate agencies, clothing stores, sports goods, furniture and mountain decorations.
The village also has a ski area called "Roc d'Enfer", it falls between 970 and 1800 m altitude. This station is accessible to all ski levels, with a shelf for beginners and many other tracks. Its major asset is a wild ski descents with more than 5 km through forests, in conjunction with Bellevaux, while providing a beautiful and unspoilt environment. Skiers can slalom on twenty tracks of 40 km, snow is largely ensured by 61 snow cannons. During the winter, animations and shops are present to welcome many of you.
