Located in the town of Saint-Genis-Laval, in the heart of Lyon Metropolis, the Château de Longchêne is a 17th century building that now houses part of the Lyon Sud hospital centre.
The Château de Longchêne still consists of a main rectangular building with a ground floor and two floors. On the north facade, it is possible to discover the spans of the central part surmounted by a lowered pediment with the inscription Hôpital Ste Eugénie. Inside, it is also possible to discover in the entrance a French ceiling decorated with painted motifs.
The site is unfortunately not accessible to visitors.
