Small village of the Hérault, Occitan region, Saint-Geniès-de-Fontedit takes place in the last hills of Cabrerollais, on the banks of Taurou. It is located not far from Pailhès, Pouzolles and Fouzilhon, between sea and mountain.

Things to see and do

As you stroll through the narrow streets of Saint-Geniès-de-Fontedit, be sure to enjoy the 14th century church remodeled in the 17th century. Southern Gothic style building, it reveals a charming green bell tower and is now classified as an historic monument.

The chapel Saint-Fulcran mid-nineteenth century, or the beautiful fountain of the Frog are also a must in the village.

Events and festivities

Three garage sales are offered between October and May.

Pentecost Sunday, frog fair, with concerts, street arts shows and local farmers and artisans market. For the occasion, theatrical visits are proposed, as well as at the end of September.

In summer, the Thursdays of Saint-Geniès are the opportunity to attend several cultural events.

In early August, place at the village festival and its many festivities.
