The farm of the castle of Saint-Fargeau, in the Yonne, opened its doors to the public in 2000.
In 18th century buildings and the surrounding parks and enclosures, are presented cows, goats, horses but also pigs, sheep, rabbits which evolve in semi-freedom, without forgetting the hens, roosters, ducks, turkeys, geese and guinea fowl!
Raised according to the principles of yesteryear, the animals are the subject of interactive activities: feeding, suckling of the little ones, milking. In addition, pony rides or team of draft horses are offered.
It is also possible to discover a number of ancient trades and aspects of daily life in the past (blacksmith's workshop, baking bread, classroom).
