Saint-Evroult-Notre-Dame-du-Bois

Rich in an important historical heritage, the town of Saint-Evroult-Notre-Dame-du-Bois attracts many tourists every year, in particular thanks to the ruins of the Abbey of Saint-Evroult. Listed as a Historic Monument, it was erected between the 11th and 13th centuries. A museum has been set up there to reveal the history of the place.

Don't miss the charms of Saint-Evroult castle and the 19th century Saint-Hubert chapel, both located at the source of the Charentonne. Not far away, the 19th century Saint-Evroult church presents its visitors with three altarpieces classified as Historical Monuments as objects.

Before leaving the premises, let yourself be tempted by a walk in front of the ruins of the old 16th century church of Mont-Deraine or in front of the Château des Houlettes.

With a seven-hectare pond and a campsite with pitches for tents and camper vans and mobile homes, the municipal leisure base seduces with its zip line, its pedal boats, its inflatable games, its mini-golf, its petanque ground, its children's play area, its refreshment bar, its ping-pong table or even its Parcabout.

A hike is organized every Pentecost Sunday.

The first weekend of July, place at the communal festival with country meal, fireworks or ball.
