Built in Saint-Denis for the Football World Cup in 1998, the Stade de France is famous for the sports events and prestigious concerts that it hosts. When it was built, the colossal construction site for the biggest stadium in France had to be accompanied by improvements to the transport infrastructure (extension of metro line 13, creation of a new station on line D of the RER regional train network and an annex stadium in Saint-Denis).

This modular stadium, which has room for 80,000 to 100,000 spectators, now allows visitors to take a look behind the scenes and relive France's victory in 1998. Right at the top of the stands, which mark the start of the visit, you can enjoy a breathtaking view and feel the supporters' emotions, before heading to the changing rooms to get a sense of the players' stress. The famous tunnel will lead you to the centre of the arena, where you can walk on the turf like your idols did before you. Lastly, following in the footsteps of the World Cup winners, you will step onto the podium and relive the magical moment when they were awarded the trophy. The tour also includes the warm-up room and the infirmary.

The stadium isn't just for football fans. Rugby matches, athletics events, concerts and performances by unmissable artists have also thrilled crowds within the stadium's walls. Alongside the guided tour lasting 1h30, don't miss the permanent exhibition at the Stade de France Museum, which tells the story of the place through various symbolic objects such as scale models, guitars and signed shirts.
