Museum of Seine-et- Marne: Man and his territory. A writer and his time.
Located in the rural setting of the valley of the Petit Morin, the museum presents the former activities of the Seine -et- marnaise society. It also addresses social issues related to the development of this area and its lifestyle in temporary exhibitions regularly renewed. A space dedicated to young audiences allows a playful discovery museum and devices adapted located on the trail.
The museum pays tribute to the writer Pierre Mac Orlan (1882-1970), author of the novel " Port of Shadows ", who lived more than forty years in Saint -Cyr -sur- Morin. Book a room in the museum the keys to his life and his work while visiting his home complete this evocation revealing her intimate and everyday.
Open every day except Wednesday afternoons and Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm and from 14h to 17h30 and 18h to July and August.
Closed on May 1st and December 24th to January 1st.
Full price : 3 € - Reduced price: € 2 ( over 60 years) - Free: under 26 years, recipient of welfare benefits, job seekers, students, disabled persons and victims of war and their attendant.
